Kidpower is very honored to have received a grant award from the Lawrence Foundation to help launch the first International Child Protection Month.

This private family foundation was founded in 2000 by husband and wife Jeff Lawrence and Diane Troth to “give back and support organizations that are trying to make the world a better place.” Only about 5% of applicants receive grants, and it means a great deal to Kidpower to be one of them.

Their support helped to cover some of the start-up costs for International Child Protection Month such as developing a new website and educational materials to bring this worldwide annual month of action from a good idea into a reality.
