Parentpower: Bullying Prevention

Learn what’s included – and how to join or organize a live online program!

Foot on skateboard outside next to Parentpower: Bullying Prevention infoIn this live online program for adults only, learn how to help young people build skills to take charge of their own safety – and how to adapt skills based on their ages, abilities, and life situations.

Plus, we’ll introduce skills every adult needs in order to protect and advocate for children and teens, since adults in charge of a school, camp, club, team, home, or youth group are the ones responsible for making sure everyone is safe from bullying and harassment.

You’ll leave with strategies to:

  • Use and teach 8 core skills to face bullying with confidence
  • Use Kidpower’s 8-point boundary framework to help you prevent and stop bullying in your own family, class, or group
  • Recognize social and relational aggression – and take action to help everyone be safe
  • Intervene when you are one of the adults in charge – and advocate for safety when others are in charge

You can enroll in a Parentpower: Bullying Prevention Community Workshop organized by Kidpower whenever one is open for registration on our Community Workshops page – or, you can organize one for your own group!

Community Workshops make up about 5% of our services and are open for anyone to enroll. Each has an individual per-screen enrollment cost, and we have a generous scholarship policy.

Most workshop types and topics are offered Community Workshops 1-5 times a year – and are organized much more often by people like you for their own school, agency, business, group, or community.

These privately organized workshops make up about 95% of our services. They are NOT listed on our Workshops page, because the groups themselves decide who to include.

Privately organized workshops have a per-class class, not a per-screen or per-participant cost. All costs include one-on-one email support with questions before & after the workshop and links to resources to help you & your family apply, adapt, and practice the skills.
