What is human trafficking? Who is affected by it? How can I keep myself and others safe? This episode of Kidpower Shorts addresses these questions and more, providing skills to recognize the signs of trafficking and take action to keep yourself physically and emotionally safe in these situations. The skills presented include managing positive triggers, setting clear boundaries, getting help even when you feel guilty or ashamed, resisting emotional isolation, and practicing empowering positive self talk.
Avery is a Kidpower native and is currently studying Zoology at the University of Glasgow. He is glad to be supporting Kidpower by producing the Kidpower Shorts, which he hopes will be accessible and helpful to people of all ages around the world!
