In this episode of Kidpower Shorts, we cover making safe friendships online! The internet is a large and interesting place with lots of interesting people, just like the real world. And, you should be able to interact with people online in a way that is joyful, respectful, and safe. Many of the skills that help us stay safe in the real world also apply online, such as staying aware and critically assessing the environment, moving away from unsafe situations, and getting help from people you trust. This video shows these skills in an online context!
Avery is a Kidpower native and is currently studying Zoology at the University of Glasgow. He is glad to be supporting Kidpower by producing the Kidpower Shorts, which he hopes will be accessible and helpful to people of all ages around the world!
