We are excited to be offering our first Fullpower Full-Force Workshop for Young Adult Ages 17-22!
Young adults often have exciting opportunities for travel, employment, college or internships. These opportunities involve being with new people, in new roles, in new communities, with a greater degree of independence and autonomy.
Get ready for this transition with a Fullpower Full-Force Workshop for Young Adults! We’re holding a workshop on Sunday, September 7 in Palo Alto from 1:30 to 5:30pm specifically to practice personal safety and self-defense skills for living more independently as you travel, go away to school, work, and/or live on your own.
Fullpower for Young Adults will focus on skills for having safer, more positive experiences with strangers, peers, housemates, co-workers, and employers. Students will practice how to how to project awareness and confidence, set clear boundaries, use positive communication to work out problems, and use their voices and bodies to escape from a dangerous situation. They will have the opportunity for full-force practice of powerful physical self-defense skills they can use as a last resort in an emergency.
To learn more or to register, please visit our workshop schedule, call our Central Office at 800-467-6997 ext. 1# or email safety@kidpower.org.
