I am delighted to introduce you to one of the remarkable people in our Kidpower community who has created a unique way of teaching our safety skills to children.
JingleJeff Luna-Sparks is a talented music teacher who has inspired thousands of children with his love of music and song. His elementary students perform at The Children’s National Honor Choir and Disneyland.
Many years ago, when I watched the performance concluding Jeff’s Kidpower: The Musical summer camp, I was blown away to see children on the stage in his backyard demonstrating and teaching Kidpower skills with great confidence and enthusiasm.
This summer, Jeff’s Kidpower: The Musical two-week camp session is again available to families with children ages 5-10 in the East San Francisco Bay area.
Along with all the wonderful other activities in JingleJeff’s programs, campers will learn, practice, perform, and present Kidpower songs and gain essential safety skills in how to prevent and solve problems with people.
These skills prepare young people to stay emotionally and physically safe with people they know and with people they don’t – in person and online. JingleJeff is a certified provider for Kidpower International.
Jingle Jamboree’s summer and holiday camp sessions, school programs, and afterschool clubs provide a fun-filled, joyful, and warm-hearted space where kids learn music through the Kodály Method, as well as playing games and creating interesting crafts.
