After an exceptional Kidpower instructor training program in January, we are now accepting applications for our biennial Fullpower Core Program Training:
How to Use the Positive Practice Method
to Teach ‘People Safety’ to Teens and Adults
April 23-28, 2015
This program is primarily for people who want to become certified as Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International instructors and also for people who want to audit the program to use in their personal and professional lives without becoming certified.
The Fullpower Core Program Training (CPT) provides hand-on practice to prepare participants to teach teens and adults, including people with disabilities and people who are elderly. The strategies and skills include boundary-setting, awareness, target denial, help-seeking, and physical self-defense to prevent and stop most bullying, harassment, and assaults both in-person and online.
Training dates: April 23-28, 2015
Application Deadline: March 15, 2015
Here’s a testimonial from our 2013 instructor training:
I found the training program to be inspiring and positive. The part that really struck me was how much being part of this organization feels like coming home, with such a supportive and caring learning and teaching environment. Of course, it is the people who make it so. The fact that Kidpower can attract and keep such amazing people speaks volumes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Because the deadline is coming up quickly, please review the information in the links below and contact us right away if you are interested.
People who become certified as instructors with Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International have a genuine interest in teaching others how to protect themselves from emotional and physical violence and abuse. They are ready to make a long-term commitment to being part of our organization.
