For over 30 years, Kidpower has been teaching people of all ages and abilities worldwide how to stay calm and take charge of their safety.

My thanks to so many of you who have let us know that webinars for adults and online workshops for children with their adults would be of great use to you in this challenging time.

We have listened and are pleased to be offering the following programs free of charge to help you cope with the impact of the widespread disruption, self-isolation, and school/work closures due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

I will be leading each of these online learning sessions that will show how to use the skills, strategies and values we teach to take care of yourself and your loved ones during this challenging time.

We will offer two sets of Webinars.

Fullpower Webinars for Adults and Older Teens:
Noon-1pm and 6pm-7pm each day in Pacific Time – California – check the world clock for your time zone. Click to register for a session below:

  1. Monday, March 23: Emotional Safety Skills for staying safe with our feelings
  2. Tuesday, March 24: Boundary-Setting Skills for staying safe with each other
  3. Thursday, March 26: Advocacy Skills for taking charge of our well being
  4. Tuesday, March 31: Conflict Resolution Skills for working out problems when we are stuck at home together

Note: We will be recording each of the webinars above and posting them on www.Kidpower.org so that people who cannot participate will still have the opportunity to view them later.

Kidpower Introductory Workshop for children ages 5-12 with their adults:
These workshops will be age-appropriate, fun, interactive, and very limited in size. To keep sizes small, we are offering 8 workshops with the same content. We will have these scheduled and announced very soon.

Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions about how we can help.

We invite you to share this information with others. Our hope is that the more people who know how to take charge of their safety, the more in control they will feel of their situations.

Stay safe. Stay well. Stay in touch!
