In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), we are hosting a special live, online event for adults with disabilities, employers committed to supporting workplace success for their current and future employees with disabilities, and for adult allies from all walks of life:

Workpower Live – Thursday, October 17, 3-4pm PT on Zoom
Learn more: kidpower.org/workpowerlive/

Workpower Live includes an introduction to our new Workpower resource!

Participants will get a guided tour of our new Workpower free educational online resource, created with funding from Ability Central.

Workpower is by and for people with disabilities showing skills for getting and keeping jobs! During Workpower Live, you’ll meet Workpower leaders, learn skills – and get your questions answered.

After a whole-group introduction, we’ll open 3 breakout rooms to focus on the priorities of three different groups of participants – individuals who have disabilities; employers; and professionals/allies.

We are striving to get the word to every individual with disabilities, employer, and professional/ally who might be interested, so please spread the word to all in your network!

Also – if you would like to schedule your own live online Workpower workshop for your own group, please contact us at safety@kidpower.org. Many groups are scheduling 60-90 minute online sessions for NDEAM, and we will be happy to include you in our schedule!
