May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we are saddened by the many challenges affecting the mental health of so many around the world. At the same time, we are truly inspired by the dedicated efforts of so many striving to make a difference in schools, agencies, and communities everywhere.

Kidpower strategies are powerful tools in the prevention and healing of trauma, and to support each of you in helping your families and communities thrive, we want to spotlight Kidpower free resources available in English and in Spanish that you can use right away to support emotional health and psychological safety – for yourself and for others in your life!

Our Take Charge of Your Mental Health module of articles is filled with practical tips for positive action to support wellbeing. Created with funding from the AEO Foundation to support young adults struggling with mental health challenges, the strategies are relevant for people of all ages.

Taking Charge of Your Beliefs About YOU by Kidpower Board President and holistic life coach April Yee shares a step-by-step approach to changing limiting beliefs, showing how to replace negative thoughts about ourselves with new beliefs about ourselves and our potential.
