Watch Irene ask Raccoon to help Kidpower raise $100K to help kids be safe!

Tuesday was an amazing day for Kidpower – and I just can’t wait to tell you why!

First, during a Head Start preschool staff training, a teacher whom I taught in 2004 shared that ever since then, she has been using Kidpower to help young children, especially girls who lack confidence, learn how to speak up for themselves. She explained that learning the simple skills on how to be powerful with their voices and their bodies transformed these girls from shy and afraid to knowing how to safely set boundaries when being bullied or pressured. The teacher was so grateful that she could send them off to kindergarten knowing that they were far safer and better prepared to speak up and get help if needed.

But that’s not all! Tuesday afternoon, I got a text from a wonderful friend and long-time Kidpower supporter who says he will match all donations up to $100,000 that we receive by December 31st. We’re so excited – and we need your help! If each of you reading our newsletters would donate as little as $20, we could raise $100,000 to provide training, online workshops, and resources to bring Kidpower to millions more people worldwide – and receive the matching $100,000 to double our efforts and outcomes!

DOUBLE your donation! By making a $20 or more donation by December 31st, you can double your donation thanks to our generous donor. Your gift will make a lasting difference in the life of a child. Please donate as generously as you can!

If you’re on Facebook, and want to help even more, we can make it fun and easy for you to do a five-day fundraiser for Kidpower, complete with content and graphics that you can use to get your friends involved.
