In the first year of Kidpower, I confessed to my friend Robert, who is one of our Founding Honorary Trustees, that I felt uncomfortable about having to ask people to donate.

In an indignant voice, Robert told me, “You are just going to have to get over it, Irene! What if any of us saw a child about to be harmed? We would want to do something to protect that child! Helping Kidpower is a wonderful way to do that!”

And of course, my friend was right then, back in 1989, and is still right now.

Every dollar you give to Kidpower helps to protect kids and people who used to be kids from harm and empowers them to take charge of their safety and well being.

So, if you haven’t donated already, please take a moment to do so today.

Whether this is the first time you have donated or have already donated in the past, I am grateful to each of you who have helped Kidpower through your gifts of caring, time, money, and sharing the ‘People Safety’ skills and strategies we teach with others.

Together, we can make a lasting difference in countless lives.
